So Matt and I are in the midst of some circumstances that we had hoped would obtain some closure yesterday. Things didn't end up going that way, and we're now still in a holding pattern.
Afterwards, I told Matt, 'Maybe God is trying to teach you some patience through all of this.'
Matt turns to me and says, 'Or maybe you.'
I had a questioning look on my face so he continued, 'You're going through this, too.'
I just looked at him and said, 'I'm married to YOU. My whole life is an exercise in patience.'
