A Day in the Life of an Aggie Guest Coach...

Highlight Reel:

1. Simply doing this! It was VERY cool...watching practice (Wednesday night), getting introduced to the team, getting to see many of the "behind the scene" things (12th Man Productions, coaches production team, etc) and seeing how the "other half" lives (Letterman Club dinner prior to the game; tour of the Zone Club prior to the game and a tour of one of the private boxes)...and experiences gameday, AND being on the sidelines prior to the start of the game. Wow. Just wow.

2. Meeting John David Crow.

3. Having my son not smile for an almost-complete family picture on the sidelines when Benjamin Knox offered to use my camera and take a picture because, "he is a stranger" Yup...you read that correctly - If I hadn't wanted a picture of us it would have been WAY more funny than it already was. (Note to self: we have done a GREAT job of the stranger danger, now we have to work on accepting SOME strangers while in the presence of Mommy and Daddy).

Here are the pictures that he took:

Then after Benjamin moved on, we got Kellen to smile, and here's our "good" picture:

Despite the loss, it was a fun adventure...and No, in case you're wondering - I wasn't one of the guest coaches that they allowed to actually call any plays, so you can't blame anything on me. Had to get that out there, just in case anyone was wondering...

And yes, in case you're still wondering, I'm also reeling about the loss as well. Wow....Just wow.
