After Awana's tonight, when I realized that Kellen was/is woefully behind in his workbook, (sidenote: how I got that we should go through one lesson a week is beyond me...we are a quarter behind - YIKES!!), we came home and went through two lessons, both in Genesis. We read from my Bible and then went through his lessons.
After reading about the six days of Creation and learning that God rested on the 7th day, Kellen remarked, "But God doesn't need to rest, He doesn't get tired."
He went on to ask, "Why did God need to rest? All he did was talk."
(You know, He SPOKE the world into creation...)
