I've stumbled upon the blog of a local family who is currently serving in Haiti. Her writing is fabulous as she's detailing the woes of this country. Check it out.
At any rate, your cereal boxes...the ones you throw away in the trash (or even recycle) can be turned into treasures.
So collect them. Flatten them. And send them!
And if you're in the BCS area, you can get them to me before December 7th and I'll be sure that they get over to the collection point in town on that day so that they can be sent to Haiti.
